Tribute: Matthew Frederick Eurich was born in Scottsbluff, Neb., to Robert and Louise Eurich.
The Eurich family moved to Colorado in 1964. He attended Ranum High School in Westminster
Following the footsteps of his grandfather and father, he began working as a painting contractor. He had several various jobs before eventually becoming self-employed as the owner of Division 99 a commercial painting business.
On June 16, 1979, he married Barb Colonno. He fathered one son.
He enjoyed shooting pool and riding his motorcycle whether all the way to Sturgis or simply around town. He loved his family and was deeply loved by each of its members.
Mr. Eurich died Thursday at his home.
Survivors: His fiancé, Dawn Marie Hess; his parents; his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Frederick Eurich II and Alicia Maria Placencia-Eurich; a sister, Theresa Berig; three brothers, Robert, Mark and Timothy Eurich and their spouses and children; and his four grandchildren, Robert Andrew, Niko Luis, Haley Nicole and Matthew Frederick III.
Preceded in death by: Barb Colonno.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood.
Interment: Crown Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Hoppe of Christ Community Church in Greeley.
