Husband of Isabel Montoya. Father of Frances "Pancha" Montoya, Mauricio (Carolyn) Montoya, Jr., Donna (Michael) Sanchez, Delores (Desmond Duran) Montoya, Loretta Montoya and Felipe (Jackie) Montoya.
Grandfather of Robert, Anita, and Placido Montoya; Mauricio, III, Matthew and Jordan Montoya; Michael, Jr., Joshua and Charity Sanchez; Rachel, Christopher, Olivia, Isaiah and Elijah Lovato; Devon and Tabitha Montoya.
Great-grandfather of Robert, Alexia and Noah Valdez; Mauricio Montoya, IV and T-Jay Jones.
Brother of Manuel (Vicky) Montoya, Nancy Lucero, Maryann (Edward) Duran and Jennie (Victor) Sena.
Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved dog "Red".

Funeral Mass, Monday, 10:00A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9731 Wigham St., Thornton, with Father Tom Coyte, Celebrant. A reception will follow.
