Maurine Ziegler

Maurine Ziegler, 82 of Englewood passed away on June 30,2019. She was born on a farm in Park, KS the daughter of Jacob and Emma Zerr. She and her 4 siblings grew up on that farm and on September 11,1956 she married Ralph Ziegler formerly of Collyer, KS. They were married for 60 years and were a wonderful example of what God intended marriage and love to be. As her children we were amazingly blessed and loved. Maurine and Ralph loved trips to Black Hawk and after Ralph passed Ken would often pick mom up and off they would go to Black Hawk. Maurine worked at Lerner's Warehouse for several years and enjoyed the benefits of seeing the new styles come in. She also worked at Royal Products in their shipping department and had an amazing packing ability. But her passion was her Avon business, she enjoyed her customers and all the friends she made throughout her 50 years in the business. Maurine rarely knew a stranger, she could talk to anyone, anywhere and won people over.

Maurine is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Ralph P. Ziegler; her parents; Jacob & Emma Zerr; their son Jerry Dean Ziegler; and her two brothers Albinus Zerr & Marcus Zerr.
Maurine is survived by; Three Children, Connie Burkhart, Kenny (Fran) Ziegler and Jerlyn Rodriguez; Nine Grandchildren, Matt (Katie) Fenton, Danae (Brian) Mark, Bradley (Kimberly) Fenton, Kristen (Ben Vincent) Ziegler, Kyle (Mariana) Ziegler, Jenna (Aaron) McCue, Jacob (fiancée Elizabeth Libertore) Rodriguez, Jonah (Jessica) Rodriguez and Jackson Rodriguez; Nine Great-Grandchildren, Elijah Mark, Gabriel Mark, Colt Ziegler-Vincent, Wednesday Fenton, Olive Mae McCue, Piper Fenton, Forrest Fenton and Madeline Fenton. Two Sisters, Thelma Pfeifer and Rosalie Zerr; and many nieces and nephews.
