MAXINE MARIE (KRABER)TIEHEN
6/18/1927 – 4/1/2020
Maxine (wife, mother, nana, great nana, aunt, friend and many other names) left us on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 after several months of declining health. We are grateful that she has found peace and rest in the Lord.
She lived her life fearlessly as the wife of Jack Tiehen for 42 years, who preceded her in death in 1991, the mother of 10 children, all of whom survive her today, 26 grand-children and 20 great grand- children. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with these people and being involved with their lives during the good times as well as the challenging ones whenever she could.
She continually demonstrated to all of us that strength of faith along with courage and determination in all things would carry us forward throughout our lives.
A woman who did not want attention brought to herself; she rather found her satisfaction in reaching out to help others as she saw the needs arise. Her legacy lives in the hearts of those she came in contact with whether in small or large ways. Her smile was always generous and her attention was always yours.
Our current situation dictates that services be private at this time but we will plan a memorial mass and life celebration when our world opens up again.
In lieu of flowers, our mother's wish was for donations be sent to : Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America @
