Max was born December 30, 1988 to Patricia and Michael Dinkel in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his father Mike, sister, Amanda, nephews Joseph and Ricky, Grandmother Vickie Davis, Grandfather Nick Dinkel, 5 uncles, 4 aunts and many cousins.
Max was wise beyond his short 20 years. He experienced life on a level that most adults will never know. When Max was 4 years old his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. This marked the beginning of a journey that shaped him into one of the most caring young men you would ever have the privilege to know. He never left her side until her death in 2005. He had an amazing nurturing spirit that brought comfort to his mother and his family and he provided solace to us all after her death. When Max looked at you it was with a depth of wisdom that came from that experience.
Max had his own secret refuge, his dog "Brandy". Like Max, Brandy never left his side providing him with comfort and unconditional love.
Max had a love for life! You can ask any of his friends. He had a great many talents but he really liked a great game of pool. He enjoyed all types of sports. He played football, baseball, golf and was a wrestler. One of his favorite activities was shooting guns with his Uncles and cousins in the mountains. Max's dream was to run his own business to that end he was a student at Community College majoring in Business with plans to transfer to CSU.
Max was an exceptional young man who possessed a natural ability to endear himself to everyone he met. He had a genuine love of family and friends. We will miss him, He will always be in our hearts and when times get tough, we will remember his love and tenacity.
