Melissa Velasquez went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 16, 2021, at her home in Littleton, Colorado.
Melissa was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 16, 1966, to Joan Robran Mickels and Harvey Fickel and grew up in Colorado.
Melissa worked hard and loved her jobs at a memory care center, flagger, banking, most recent maintenance manager of a strip mall and numerous other positions. She loved her fur baby Buckaroo, riding motorcycles, camping, tubing, music, bowling, family and friends. Melissa was an avid Raiders fan. Melissa never met a stranger, was a beautiful soul, kind, caring, non-judgmental, heart of gold, loyal and loving. Melissa was always there to lend a hand or sound advice.
Melissa was preceded in death by her half-brother Timothy Fickel, her paternal grandparents Jim and Christine Fickel, maternal grandparents Robert and Laura Robran, Barbara Robran, aunt and Edward Robran, uncle.
Survivors include Joan Mickels, mother, John (Uncle) and Genevieve (Aunt) Robran of Grants, New Mexico, cousins Nicole, Zoe, Lonnie Fay, Darcie and Joseph Marquez, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico, many numerous cousins and friends.
Melissa will be sadly missed by all. Rest in peace beautiful angel.
