Michael R. Cabral

Michael R. “Mickey” Cabral, 72, of Denver passed away Tuesday, July 09, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

 Mickey was born on August 18, 1951, in Denver, Colorado to Marcello and Lucy (Flores) Cabral. His first job was working for the City of Denver with his dad and brother. Mickey loved to draw, he was an artist, he enjoyed drawing with ink pens, he also made detailed crafts with leather and beads. Some of his hobbies were weightlifting, tattooing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Prior to his death, he lived in Denver and enjoyed raising his dog, Junior. 

 He is survived by his brother Charles Cabral, his children Michael (Martha) Cabral, Candy Roybal and Sarah Gutierrez, grandchildren Bernadette Roybal, Jose Roybal, Anette Cabral, Mark Cabral, Michael Montoya and Mario Sanchez, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed, and always remembered.

 Mickey was preceded in death by his parents Marcello and Lucy Cabral, siblings Dolores, Donald, Jennie, Patricia, Marcella and Barbara, son Rickey, grandson Donovan Roybal and son in-law Jose Roybal. 

 The Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 27, 2024, 10:00am Visitation, 11:00am Funeral Mass, at Saint Mark Catholic Church 3141 West 96th Avenue, Westminster, Colorado 80031. Reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall
