Mike passed away unexpectedly after a serious illness. He was an avid sports fan. Mike was a graduate of George Washington High School and the University of Colorado. He played football for the University of Colorado Buffaloes and professionally for the Dallas Cowboys. Mike enjoyed racing cars and fishing, and like his father, was a pilot. Mike is survived by his wife Susan, his sons John and Chris, and grandsons Ben and Hunter. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mike was kind, generous, and highly esteemed by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of a funeral, there will be a Celebration of Life at 4700 South Logan St., Englewood CO 80113 on June 4th 2022 at 2:00pm. Mike's remains will be interred at the Gale family plot at Fairmount Cemetery.
