Michele Morgan Dias, age 49 passed away on July 28, 2021, at their home in Aurora, CO after a courageous battle with Sickle Cell Disease.
Michele was born on June 23, 1972, in St. Louis, MO to the late Lee A Morgan and Pearl Lucy Morgan.
Michele was educated in the Saint Louis Public School system while battling sickle cell disease.
The family moved to Colorado where Michele would meet and marry Samuel Dias who was her partner in life for 28 years at the time of her passing. Michele accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age at Thessalonian MB Church in St. Louis, MO under the leadership of the late Rev E. Booze. Shortly before her passing, she often commented how she relied on her faith in God to give her strength and see her through. Michele was a devoted mother, caring for her children Dashawn and Keyana as she endured painful crises from her sickle cell disease. She lived life to the fullest as she had a passion for traveling, visiting the gun range and family outings with Keyana. Her love for Coach Accessories was undeniable. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
Michele is survived by her husband Samuel; children, Dashawn and Keyana; Daughter through marriage, Lakreshia Winters; Granddaughters, Charlotte and Monae McClain of Denver, CO.; Brothers, Lee Jr. (Brenda); Keith (Veronica) of St. Louis, MO; Kenneth of Keller, TX; Aaron of Denver, CO; Jeffrey (Antionette) of Albuquerque, NM; Jerome of Fultondale, AL; Sisters, Cathy Boyd, St. Louis, MO; Carol Ann Pickett and Brenda Lozada of Aurora, CO; Cassandra Strong of Denver, CO; Kimberly Brown (Steve) of Joliet, IL; Denise Waits of Avondale, AZ; Angela Cotton (William) of Scottsdale, AZ. Aunts, Carrie Grayson of KC, KC and Hattie Nelson of KC, MO. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Michele is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Pearl Lucy and Lee A Morgan; Brothers Samuel and Stanley Morgan; Sisters, Beulah Payne, Mary Smith, Barbara Grimes, and Joyce Tutt.
