Mike A. Zamora, Jr.

Mike was born on February 3, 1948 in Sinton, TX to the late Mike Zamora, Sr. and Maria Zamora.

He was preceded in death by his sister Esther Marcha and brother Pete Zamora.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Zamora and his children; Leticia, Celia (WB), Carlos (Marissa), and Michael (Lorena). He will be missed dearly by his eleven grandchildren; Marina, Rachelle, Will, Austin, Noah, Jordan, Maria, Vicki, Romeo, Julie and Sophiah.

Mike graduated from high school in Rawlings, Wyoming in 1966. He enlisted in the Navy and served from 1968 to 1971 in the Vietnam War. He is a two time purple heart recipient. He met his wife Martha in 1971 and they married in 1973. He retired from the Postal Service after working there for 35 years.

Mike had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He was very adventurous and loved to travel. Ziplining was his favorite thing to do on vacations. He was also very giving and regularly donated to various charities. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it, especially his family. He was also a die hard Raiders fan.

His family and friends will forever miss him.
