Miles R. Mcclune

84, of Aurora, CO. Born in Parkesburg, PA to John and Della McClune. His wife of 60 years Lila; two brothers Harold and Blair; sister Della all preceded him in death. Survived by son Michael and daughter Pamela McClune. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and served for 22 years including service during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He Retired in the U.S. Navy as Cheif (Parachute Rigger). After the Navy he worked as an engineer for Martin Marietta and Johnson's Engineering on the NASA Space Program. After that he did not retire! He continued to work as a security guard until the age of 80 when he finally quit working. Miles enjoyed playing golf, reading and traveling. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Area "C" Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the Denver Hospice 501 S.
