Mollie Gallegos, 90, of Aurora, Colorado passed away Sunday January 16, 2022.
She was born in Denver, Colorado September 29, 1931, to David and Julia Baker, and graduated from Manual High School in 1949. She married her high school sweetheart Claude Gallegos who preceded her in death in 1994.
Mollie worked for the Cherry Creek School District in administrative support at several schools throughout the district. She was an active member of the Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church and belonged to the Legion of Mary. Mollie was an excellent cook, enjoyed her grandchildren, and was known for her sweet nature.
Mollie is survived by her daughter Valerie; son-in-law Matthew Flynn; and grandchildren; Mollie, Rita, and Joseph Flynn.
A Funeral Mass will be held on February 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, 18000 E Arapahoe Rd, Foxfield, CO 80016. Services to conclude at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to The Denver Hospice, 8289 E. Lowry Blvd, Denver, CO 80230
