Nathan Roosevelt Gill

Nathan R. Gill, 89, of Aurora, CO. Passed away July 7, 2018 in Aurora, CO. He was born on January 3, 1929 to parents Nathan and Avery (nee Butler) Gill in Decatur, AL.

Nathan was inducted into the Army in 1950 and Honorably Discharged in 1950 with the Rank of Corporal. He enrolled in Alabama A & M University were he obtained a degree in Agriculture. He also completed the certification for a Brick Mason. While he attended college he played football and baseball.

He moved to Colorado in 1956 and joined New Hope Baptist Church and sang in the choir. He was a trustee and doorkeeper throughout the years. He worked as a carpenter, landscaper, mechanic and brick mason. Nathan retired from Electron Corp. in 1984 after 15 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his loving wives Marion Gill who passed away in 1965, and Blanche Gill who passed away in 2006.
