Nellie Lucile Frisinger, 87, of Highlands Ranch, passed away May 21, 2018.
She was born October 4, 1930 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Edwin and Lucile (Light) Olson.
She graduated from Arvada High School. She studied at the former Baptist Bible College in Denver where she received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
On June 12, 1949, she married Carl Frisinger in the former Arvada Baptist Church.
Nellie was a member at Mission Hills Church.
She was both a member and administrative assistant at Beth Eden Baptist Church, Judson Memorial Church and finally, at Conference Baptist in Evergreen, throughout her lifetime.
She also enjoyed writing, and was an editor for Baptist Publications. Nellie wrote 6 children's books and was an accomplished author for young readers.
Nellie enjoyed oil painting and painted hundreds of paintings. She was also a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. Nellie was a trained Precept Bible Study Leader for nearly twenty years.
Nellie is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Carl Frisinger; Three Children, Russ (Jere) Frisinger, Ron (Dotti) Frisinger and Suzy (John) Robinson; Six Grandchildren, Micah (Heather) Frisinger, Dulcia (Daniel) Jerdan, Katja Frisinger, Kyla Frisinger, Angela Dunwody, Tanya (Aaron) Rickli; Twelve Great-Grandchildren, Olivia Frisinger, Elena Frisinger, Ailish Jerdan, Colin Jerdan, Ian Jerdan, Evan Jerdan, Brayton (fiancee Mackenzie ) Dunwody, Brianna Dunwody, Brittney Dunwody, Braelynn Dunwody, Ryleigh Rickli, Warren Rickli; Mother of Olivia and Elena, Florita Frisinger; Sister-In-Law, Betty Olson; and Many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by Father, Edwin Robert Olson, Mother, Lucile May Olson, Brother, Neal Olson.
