Nickie Cathie Romero Walker

Walker (Romero), Nickie Cathie, 55, unexpectedly passed away on January 2, 2007. She was born on September 21, 1951 in Denver, CO. Nickie was the daughter of Mary H. Romero and the late Frank Romero. She is survived by her siblings: Rozanne M. Haege (Randy Haege), Suzanne M. de St Jean (Glen de St Jean), Frank "Kiko" Romero (LouAnn Chavez-Romero), Ricardo Romero (Jennifer Valentine), Lino Romero, Helen Mayers, Angie Aragon, David Gonzales, Jo-Jo Martinez and Rebecca Lovato. Nickie was the aunt of Nirvana Johanna, Renee Lisa Romero-Montoya, Antonio "Tone" Montoya, Daniel Jacob Romero, Michael John Cameron, Elena Nicole Romero, Armando "Mondo" Montano, Christopher Louis Romero, Nichole Christana Castillo, Anthony David Romero. She was the great aunt of Antonia "Annie" Montoya.

She loved God, her family, cats, angels, and butterflies. She was generous, giving, and full of laughter. She brought joy to her family, friends, and to all fortunate enough to cross her path.

A special thanks to all the neighbors, friends and extended family members that have been with her throughout her life journey.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Bible Chapel South, 4250 S. Federal Blvd. Reception will be held at the Chapel following the services. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.newcomerfamily. com
