Our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on October 6, 2009. Nick was born on October 13, 1927 in San Antonio, Colorado to Augustin and Lucia Duran. On October 27, 2009 he married Amada Lujan and shared 62 wonderful years together. Nick is survived by his wife, Amy Duran; his children, Shirley Hall (Tim), Lee Duran (Erma), Olga Avalos, Millie Duran (Tony Garcia), Alice Duran, David Duran (Lisa), Andy Duran and John Duran (Sue); his brothers, Paul Duran (Angie) and Ross Duran (Wilma); 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3801 W. Ohio Ave., Denver. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Sat., October 10, 2009 at 9:30 a.m.
