Noriko Thomas, 85, of Aurora, passed away December 30, 2018.
She was born March 15, 1933 in Japan, the daughter of Naotake and Kimi Yoshimitsu.
Noriko attended church at Buckley AFB Chapel. She was also very active with the Asian Club and Senior Citizen Center.
Noriko enjoyed gardening, sewing and arranging flowers. She would frequently be responsible for large floral displays at the Denver Stouffer Inn. She also enjoyed going out for a good meal. Noriko loved walking and exercising.
Noriko is survived by Two Daughters, June (Eric) Peipert, Janet (Paul) Karch; Two Sons, James (Diane) Thomas, Joseph Thomas; Daughter-In-Law, Gail Thomas; Eight Grandchildren, Travis (Heather), Spencer, Brittany, Stephany, Chloe, Faith, Donovan and Kimberly; Many great-grandchildren; Brother, Naoyuki Yoshimitsu; Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by Husband, John D. Thomas, Sr.; Parents, Naotake and Kimi Yoshimitsu and Son, John D. Thomas, Jr.
