Norman W. Boivin

December 8, 1961 — January 11, 2022

He was born to the late Warren A. Boivin, Sr and Karen M. Boivin on December 8, 1961, in Weymouth MA. Norm graduated from Hinkley High School in Aurora, Co in 1980 and continued his education in The United States Navy where he enlisted in April of 1981. During his time in the Navy, he learned to be a skilled Machinist. Norm spent twenty and a half years proudly serving his country when he retired in November 2001 as an E8 - Sr Chief. After serving in the Navy, Norm successfully operated Boivin Machining, LLC and was co-owner of Backstreet Tavern & Grill.

Norm had a love for classic cars, especially his 1970 Charger R/T, motorcycles and riding ATVs in the mountains. His love for his family and friends surpassed his love for cars or bikes. He was so proud of his children and their accomplishments; in addition to the love and time spent with his grandchildren, which brought the most joy to his heart. His favorite place was Lake Cossayuna, NY, where he loved to fish. We were blessed to have a family vacation in 2019 where lots of lifetime memories were made. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

Norman is survived by his wife Tara, Two Sons, Robert (Courtney) Boivin, Richard C. Finger; Two Daughters, Kirstin N. Boivin, Katlin M. Finger; Six grandchildren, Serenity N. Ricketts, Gianna Boivin, Justice Ford, Robert Devin Boivin, Jr., Nelayah Boivin, Emelyn Boivin; Two Brothers, Darren J. (Dina) Boivin, Warren A. (Kellie) Boivin Jr.; Ex-Wife, Veronica Boivin; and many other family and friends.

A viewing is scheduled for Friday, February 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomber's Funeral Home. Norm's funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 19 at 10:00 a.m. A military service will also be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery to be determined later.
