O'Dilla Brunner was born in Logan Kansas on November 16, 1919 and lived in Kansas until she met and married Ludwig Brunner on October 8th 1945. She moved to Denver and lived in Colorado until her passing on December 18, 2010.
Our mother was a very loving wife mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Ludwig (Lucky), her son Edwin (Ed) and her daughter Edith Marie. She is survived by her daughter Susan and four grandchildren Jason (daughter-in-law Jessie), Eric (daughter-in-law Terra), Ceres (son-in-law Eric) Amanda (son-in-law Kevin) and David and seven grandchildren Nicole, Evan, Kaya, Abigail, Seth, Beckham and Patience.
O'Dilla had an incredible spirit and touched everyone she met. She spent her life caring for her family and friends. She enjoyed helping people and her home was open to everyone, always giving to those in need, a place to sleep or a good meal. She was "Grandma" to everyone and nothing came before her family and friends. Her spirit and generosity touched hundreds of lives; like a ripple in the ocean she left a wake behind, as evident in all of the souls she smiled upon.
She truly was a remarkable person and we were blessed to have her with us for 91 years. She will be sorely missed and take comfort in knowing that her kind, loving, and generous spirit will continue to guide us in our everyday lives.
