Olin Thompson

Olin James Thompson passed away on December 8, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO after a long illness. He was born at Deer Trail, CO on March 2, 1915 to Will and May Thompson. He broke horses and farmed, then went to work as a water well driller, then returned to farming Near Byers, CO in 1965, where he lived until his illness.

Olin is survived by three sons and one daughter: Gary & wife Karen, Dennis & wife Chris, Robert & wife Kathleen, Judy Bender & husband Jack. There are many grandchildren & great grandchildren. His final resting place will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Deer Trail, Colorado.

Funeral services will be at 11AM on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, East Chapel. Viewing will be from 10-11AM Thursday.
