Opal E. Gilleland, 89, of Wheat Ridge, formerly of Rifle, CO. Mother of Darlene Lawrence. Sister of Helen Dirksen, Nadine Leidy, Wallace Humphries and Thelma Feese. Step-sister of Linda Dimmick and Mary Dewittie. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Leland Gilleland and sons Adrian Gilleland and Lloyd Gilleland. Services, Monday 2:00P.M. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel. Private Interment, Rose Hill Cemetery, Rifle, CO.
