Orie R. McKinney II (72) born on August 31, 1950 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 25, 2022. Orie was a life long Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche fan. He also loved to hike, fish, hunt, dance, watching old western movies, going to the casino, and spending time with his family and friends.
Orie is survived by his brothers Bradley McKinney and Ronald (Ann) McKinney, his children Summer Irelan, DJay Harshman, Jennifer (John) Ferguson, and Cory (Nichole) McKinney. He also had several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl D. McKinney, his mother Oreta Rae McKinney Surratt, his father Herman E. Surratt, and his birth father Orie Russell McKinney, and his brother Dennis McKinney.
Services for Orie will be held at: January 27, 2023 at MountAir Christian Church 1390 Benton Street Lakewood, Co 80214 at 3 pm.
