Patricia Ann Jones was born to Johnnie H. Haggerty and Henri D. Harris on May 30, 1949 in Tyler, Texas. She was the first of six children, and was loved and cherished by all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins. The love, care and family values were instilled in her at an early age showed. Her family, began to grow and they would move to Denver for a new beginning.
Now, raising six children in a new state required long hours of work Pat was called upon to watch over, protect and take care of her younger siblings. In the years to come it would become apparent how much her family meant to her.
She graduated from West High School in 1967. She excelled in her education as well as sports. In track she ran the 50 and 100 yard dash and was the anchor on the relay team. She held the record in the 100 yard dash.
Years after graduating she met and fell in love with an up and coming boxer by the name of Leroy Jones. They soon got married and she started a family of her own. Having three children Leron, Letitia and Loy added joy and happiness to her life. She became a dedicated mother teaching her children the same values instilled in her.
Patricia was a kind and loving person. She had a big heart and treated everyone with respect and compassion. Those who knew her felt her love and support. Patricia always extending herself fully to her entire family, they were always her primary focus. She displayed this with great dedication, generosity, and unselfishness
