Patricia Ann Huntzinger

Patricia Ann Trommeter Huntzinger, 68 of Denver, Colorado, passed away on October 8th, 2023, from early onset Alzheimers. She was born on October 27th, 1954, to Edgar and Dorothy Trommeter at St. Anthony's hospital in Denver, Colorado. She was their fourth child of seven. Patty attended Holy Rosary Catholic school, Blessed Sacrament grade school & graduated from Machebeuf High School. She began working at King Soopers in 1970 until her retirement in 2015. Working in various positions during that time. She also worked for Home Depot for 12 years. Patty was a very dedicated, hard worker and had an outstanding work ethic. She wouldn't ask anyone to do anything she wouldn't do herself. She married Ron Huntzinger on October 6, 1973. Later, it ended in divorce.

Patty loved gardening, decorating her home and baking. She made the best fudge, toffee, and cookies. Everyone looked forward to her homemade goodies at Christmas. Most of all, she had a great love of her nieces and nephews & family. She enjoyed all of them and was always there when anyone needed her. She had a wonderful bond with Jim, her youngest brother.

Patty is survived by her siblings. Edgar Trommeter Jr. (Pat) of Bon Carbo Colo. Bob Trommeter (Carole) of Denver, Colo. Diane Boyles (Randy) of Victor, Colo. Dave Trommeter, of Trinidad, Colo. Sharon Donohoue (John) of Rifle, Colo. and Linda Trommeter of Green Valley, AZ. Ten nieces and nephews. 19 great nieces & nephews. Two uncles and two aunts and many cousins, relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Dorothy Trommeter and her brother James Thomas Trommeter.

There will be a lunch reception in Campbell Hall following the Mass.
