Patricia Jones, of Denver, surrounded by her family, passed away on November 4th, 2022
Patricia (Pat) was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on August 27, 1947 to her loving parents Charles and Bertha Castle. She was the youngest of 11 children. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine of her eleven siblings Verna, Freda, Faye, Francis, Topsy, Tommy, Jimmy, Billy and Larry. She has one surviving brother Richard who resides in Georgia.
At the age of 2, the family relocated to Denver, Colorado and she spent most of the rest of her life there. She is survived by her husband Larry Jones of 58 years of marriage. Pat and Larry met and were married in 1964. They had one daughter, Tina. Tina gave this proud grandmother 2 granddaughters, Jasmine and Alisa. Alisa and Jasmine traveled extensively with their grandparents and their grandmother loved them dearly. Alisa gave Pat her precious great granddaughter Au'vae.
Pat worked for the telephone company and retired in 1998 at the age of 50. After retiring, Pat and Larry spent a great deal of time traveling, taking cruises and camping in their mobile home. She loved playing Bingo and loved sitting down at a slot machine, waiting on those lucky jackpots and somehow she hit them!!!!!
Until recently, Pat had good health and spent her time enjoying life with her family and friends.
Pat will be greatly missed. Her memories will always remain in our hearts.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday November 17th starting at 10:00am at Newcomer East Metro Chapel 190 Potomac St. Aurora CO. 80011
