Patricia Anne "Pat" Hastings, 73, of Denver, passed away March 21, 2018.
She was born December 3, 1944 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Boleware) Benigar.
She was a graduate of Forest Hill High School in Jackson, Mississippi. She then attended a local Business College for secretarial school and bookkeeping.
Pat did bookkeeping for Snap-On and Personal Finance Company in Illinois before moving to Colorado in 1989. She then was a cashier for Walmart for 28 years.
Pat was a member of Central Bible Church in Lakewood.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed counted cross-stitch. When her children were younger, Pat would sew their clothes. Pat was an avid reader and studied her Bible every day. Her family was her life. Recently, she really loved seeing her grandchildren on Facebook and attending their 4-H events. Pat also loved to travel to Mississippi to visit her family. Another highlight for Pat was a trip to Disney World. She enjoyed going on trips into the mountains and to the Botanic Gardens.
Patricia is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth A. "Liz" (Paul) Amoroso and Rhonda K.H. (Henry) AuYeung; three grandchildren, Patricia "Tricia" Amoroso, Rhonda Amoroso and Mary Amoroso; brother, Robert "Butch" (Sheila) Benigar; nephew, Robert "Rob" Benigar; great-aunt, Frances Thornton; two cousins, Larry Thornton and Danny (Susan) Thornton; and many extended family members.
She is preceded in death by Father, Joseph Wesley Benigar and Mother, Dorothy Nell Benigar.
