Patsy was born Pansy Levoy Cotton. Born to Roy and Anna Cotton in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
Patsy Cotton moved to Denver when she was just 18 years old. While waiting tables she waited on a dashing man, Elbert Johnson. They married and had 7 children. Patsy is survived by daughters Lenore Sillivan and Beverly Johnson and sons Jim and Ken Johnson, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Johnson, by son Elbert Johnson, Jr., by daughters Shirley Cook and Sharon Loughmiller, and grandson Christian Andrew Loughmiller.
Patsy and her husband had thriving businesses on South Federal Blvd. in Southwest Denver for nearly 30 years. Johnnie's Mart and Pat's Liquors were very much a part of the neighborhood. Patsy was known as "Mom" to most kids who came there.
