Paul J "Skip" Masterson, died at the age of 102, on August 23, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. Skip was born on June 29, 1916 in Parnell, Iowa to Bernard and Isabelle Masterson. Skip was one of seven children.
Skip's family moved to Colorado Springs at the age of ten, where he stayed until joining the Army Air Corp in 1940. Skip was stationed at Buckley Air Base until discharged in 1945 at the rank of Tech Sergeant. While stationed at Buckley, Skip met the love of his life, Lois Isaacson, and they were married on April 10, 1944. Skip and Lois had seven children, Joe, Jeanne, Jerry, Jim, John, Jeff and Jay, along with 19 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren!!
After trying his hand in a few different fields, Skip settled in the insurance industry, where he worked for over 30 years. After short stays in Boise, Idaho and Rapid City, South Dakota, Skip returned to the Denver area where he raised his family and lived the remainder of his life.
Skip's passions in life, other than spending time with his family and friends, included golf, travel, slot machines, the Broncos, and all sports. Many of the families fondest memories involved Skip trying to teach his kids to play golf, road trips to Las Vegas, California and Phoenix.
Skip was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends
