Pearl Hawk

September 9, 1942 — September 21, 2024

Pearl Hawk of Aurora, CO passed peacefully away in her sleep on September 21, 2024. She was 82 years old. Wife of John Franklin Hawk, the couple married and raised their family in Norton, Kansas. They would have celebrated their 63rd year of marriage on September 30th.

Pearl was known for her strong will, unwavering determination and indomitable spirit.

She would proudly boast that she helped raise all six of her grandchildren and many other children over the years that she provided in home daycare services. 

Pearl's Christian faith was an essential part of her life. Pearl prided herself on giving assistance, lending a helping hand and showing compassion to those in need. She volunteered at the her church's food bank.

Born in Mississippi, Pearl was a daughter of the late Francis Spencer and Emme Lucille Jones and was one of 5 children. Pearl is survived by her loving husband John Franklin Hawk; daughter, Adele Gard and her husband Michael and son, John E. Hawk and his wife Sherri. She is survived by six grandchildren; Vanessa, Aaron, Joshua, Brittany, John Tyler and Brenna; and five great grandchildren; Kyle, Jackson, Ezra, Addie and Carter.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Southeast Church of Christ 14601E Yale Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to support the food bank at the Southeast Church of Christ.
