Peggy Arlene Tanquary

Peggy Arlene Tanquary, beloved wife of James L. Tanquary, passed away peacefully in Aurora, Colorado on November 30th, 2024 at the age of 75. Peggy was born on November 17, 1949 in Southard, Oklahoma and lived a full life with her husband who she married on March 29, 1969. They resided in various places throughout their 55 years together including Colorado, Japan, and New York due to his service in the Army. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Eileen Crites, her sister Jean, and her grandson Keagan. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband James, sister Char Hildahl, brother-in-law Ron Hildahl, four daughters, ten grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Peggy had a passion for crochet, jewelry making, playing computer games like WoW, and creating personal computer artwork with poems, which she made for loved ones on their special occasions. Above all else, she cherished her family more than anything. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of Peggy. A funeral service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery at the soonest availability. Her life may have come to an end, but her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
