Perry E. Smith, 90, of Northglenn, passed away November 18, 2018.

He was born October 20, 1928 in Hooker, Oklahoma, the son of Perry R. and Mary (Jacobs) Smith.

He was a graduate of Hooker High School. He attended Northrup in California for Aircraft Mechanics.

Perry honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. While in the Navy, he was a Shellback.

On February 14, 1958, he married Martha Herrmann.

Perry was an Aircraft Mechanic for Continental for 28 years. When Continental went into Bankruptcy, Perry worked in an Aircraft Accessory Overhaul Station.

Perry loved airplanes. He collected old cameras and took many pictures. He was interested in ships and had memorabilia from different ships. Family was very important to Perry. He enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Perry is survived by Two Sons, Randal A. Smith and Douglas E. (Veronica) Smith; Two Grandchildren, Heather M. (Travis) Owens and Brandi M. (Kevin) JackSon; Four Great-Grandchildren, Morgan J. (David) Sagstetter, Keaton V. JackSon, Cathryn G. JackSon and Amber R. Smith.

He is preceded in death by Wife, Martha A. Smith; Father, Perry R. Smith and Mother, Mary E. Smith.

Contributions may be made in Perry's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
