Philip John Deal, 61, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 after a long battle with breast cancer. He was born to the late Emeroh and Phyllis Deal, Septermber 16, 1957 in Fort Wayne,Indiana. He graduated from Moon Valley High School in 1976 and received a Associate degree in busines in 1980 from Glendale Community College in Arizona. He was married to Neva Deal on October 7, 1988.
He was an active member of Calvary Aurora Church, member of Hope Valley Church for ten years, member of Central Baptist Church for ten years, served as a deacon from 1995 and chairman of deacons for several years. He traveled with Phoenix Biltmore Church of the Nazarene singing with the teen Choir.
He loved spending time with his children, granddaughters, family and friends. He loved to travel, favorite destination was Maui, Hawaii. He loved watching and attending Avalance Hockey, Rockies baseball and watching Bronco Football games with his family. He attended Spring Training baseball in Arizona with family for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Neva Deal. His three children Melissa West, Michael Deal,and Glen Deal. His brother William Deal and sister in law, Cheryl Deal of Peoria, Arizona, sister Colleen Bautista and Brother in law John Bautista of Peoria, Arizona. He is also survived by his five granddaughers , Riley Taipalus , Kinsley West, Liliana West, Emma Deal and Michaela Deal of Colorado. He is survived by three nephews, Rob Deal, Matt Deal, Ross Bautista, and one niece, Lydia Bautista and four great nieces, Jaime Deal, Kristin Deal, Ashley Deal, and Faith Deal.

A memorial service to celebrate Phil's life will be held at Calvary Aurora Church, 18900 E Hampden Ave, Aurora, CO 80013 on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 am.
