In Loving Memory of Phillip "Phil" Fermin Abeyta
Phillip Fermin Abeyta, of Denver Colorado, passed away on June 11, 2018 at the age of 48. He was born on March 27, 1970, to Romeo and Geraldine Longoria.
Phil is survived by parents, Romeo & Geraldine, children, Phillip (Katie), Cecily (Jeremy), Robert, Elijah, brother, Gilbert, sisters, Danielle (Nathaniel), Bernice (Shawn), Erica, grandchildren, Cael, Silas, Isla, Nicholas, Devinn, Kashton and numerous other family members and lifelong friends.
Phil was a proud father, protector, and fighter who lived each day like it was his last. He was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan, loved fishing & camping, and had a passion for boxing since childhood. He was a volunteer & boxing coach who mentored the youth in his community. Phil always said, "When I go, don't mourn me, celebrate me". His favorite quote was, "I have been fighting since I was a child. I am not a survivor, I am a warrior."
Phil will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
