Phyllis "Birdie" Garcia

Phyllis (Birdie) Garcia 11/15/40-11/22/24 She is preceded in death by her parents Fidel & Adelaida, her siblings Benny, Alex, Sophie, Angie, Della and Eleanor. She is survived by her sister Elaine Valdez (Joe) and her children Nancy Hernandez (Tony), Joyce Valdez (Dave), Albert Garcia Jr. (Dana) and Desiree Garcia. Her grandchildren Natalie, Christopher, Sara, Izik, Adam, Diandra, Valerie, Michelle, Clint, Jonathen, Alex, Danelle, Alan & Angelina. Great grandchildren Nate, Lexe, Leah, Josiah, Xavier, Ariza, Gianna, Vivianna, Gabriel, Melina, Lucas, Daniel & Elian. Great Great grandson Santiago. Numerous nieces' nephews' family and friends. She worked for many years as an alcohol and domestic violence counselor. She loved her family. She loved to dance and visit the mountains. She was always there to help anyone. She loved to go to church. She loved holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. She loved dressing up in costumes going around the neighborhood and decorating her house for Christmas. She will be greatly missed by all of her family. Rest in peace Mom. 

We want to thank everyone for all your prayers, calls, texts, visits and food. Your love and support mean the world to us as her family. 

A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
