Rafael "Ralph" Trujillo, 85, passed away on August 29, 2022.
He was born in Sopris, Colorado to James and Rose (Garcia) Trujillo. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Clara (Romero) in 1992 and his brother Rick Trujillo in 2022.
Ralph attained the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) over a 20-year military career in the U.S. Army as an electronics technician from 1955 to 1978. He then spent several years working at the Department of Energy's Rocky Flats facility until it closed in 1992. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his son Tim, daughter-in-law Anita (Gonzales) and daughter R. Yvonne (Trujillo), his granddaughters Louise, Alyssa, and Stephanie (Sanchez), Javier Sanchez (Stephanie's husband), as well as two great grandsons Javi and Jesse Sanchez. He is also survived by seven siblings. Robert, Irene (Vickles), M. Ophelia (Butt), M. Beatrice (Lovato), Tony, James and Therese (Megargee).
