82, of Lakewood, passed away February 3, 2011. He is survived by two sisters, Venita Cole and Alberta Whaley. Also survived by three nephews, three nieces, and one adopted nephew. Preceded in death by multiple loving family members. He joined the Army reserves, in 1950, and saw active duty in the Korean War, as part of an artillery unit. His love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, kept him young. Feisty, ornery, and dedicated, were some of his attributes. Ralph was a welder and helped to build the Eisenhower Tunnel, where his eyes were burned from the sparks. May you forever swim with your watery angels.
