Randall Preston Williams, 74, of Aurora, passed away July 25, 2020.
He was born November 2, 1945 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Fred and Mary (Adams) Williams. He was a 1963 graduate of Malakoff High School in Texas.
Following his graduation, Randall enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Randall honorably served in the Navy during Vietnam War and retired in November 1986 at the rank of Cryptologic Technician, Senior Chief Petty Officer. While in the U.S. Navy, Randall was a flight instructor for Cessna airplanes.
Following his retirement from the U.S. Navy, Randall went to work at E Systems and Raytheon. He retired from Raytheon in 2004.
He was a member of the Worldwide CT Community and Naval Security Group. Randall enjoyed skiing and riding his motorcycle. He also liked to be outdoors and walk. He was a jack-of-all-trades and was the neighborhood handyman.
On April 10, 1980 he married Estelita Capulong.
Randall is survived by his wife of 40 years, Estelita Williams; daughter, Amy (Chris Laflin) Williams-Laflin; step-son, Dionisio (Teresa) Almario; five grandchildren, Sara Rose Laflin, Elizabeth Laflin, Adrienne (Erik) Hur, Kristoffer (Kimberly) Almario and Chelsea Almario; two great-grandchildren, Noah Hur, Evan Hur; sister, Cathy (Larry) Wiseman; brother, Ray (Georgia) Williams, former wife, Dinah Hatton and several nieces, nephews, family and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by father, Fred Aaron Williams; mother, Mary Catherine Williams and grandmother, Ona Cole.
