Raul G Paredez "WOLF"
Died July 7th 2024 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Raul was born on March 24th 1947 in Big Spring Tx to Angela and Martin Paredez. Raul married Mary R. Paredez October 5th 1968 in Big Spring Tx. Raul retired from the City and County of Denver( Police Fleet) after more than a decade of service. Raul was a life long Catholic and grew up in Big Spring. Raul played basketball, baseball, and track & field. He loved watching his Chicano Bears. Raul loved working on his home and keeping his yard green and beautiful. Raul loved his family and all things family. he always had time to help everyone, he was a father too so many. Raul never met a stranger if you had a min he had five to talk about anything. Raul was a graduate from Sweetwater Technical College and was extremely proud of this accomplishment. Raul LOVED to travel, he took his family to EUROPE, PUERTO RICO, NEW YORK, SOUTH DAKOTA just to name a few, but we all know his favorite vacation was to Big Spring TX!! Raul was the strongest man alive our own real life SUPERMAN! Our dad will be missed and our world will NEVER BE THE same...but for now we know his body is resting and he is beginning to lay the foundation for us to follow him.
Raul is survived by his wife Mary R. Paredez of 56 years of Thornton Colorado. Two daughters Cerissa (Oscar) Valencia (Arvada), Karen (Tim) Mena (Thornton), one grandson (son) Trystan Gonzales (Thornton), One granddaughter Lexus Valencia (Arvada) and one great-grandson Jordan Clyde Jones ( Arvada) and One sister, Rosario Diaz of Big Spring TX.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Martin and Angela Paredez, brother Frank (Chico) Paredez and one Sister Elisa Carrillo.
