who died at age 94 on November 20, 2006, lived a long and rewarding life. Born in 1912, Ray was the youngest of ten children in a family of Slovenian immigrants who had settled in Joliet, Illinois. Ray's life arced from the era when horse drawn wagons plied the streets to the age of space walks. In his long life, he was an amateur actor, an attorney, a Cubs fan, a soldier, an avid fisherman and a lifelong Democrat as well as a golfer, a skier, a world traveler, and a faithful member and lay-leader of the Catholic Church. It's hard to imagine the world without him. He will be missed by his family and his many friends. Ray is especially loved and survived by his wife, Anne, his three children, Thomas, Susan and Kathryn, Eugen Zadra, his grandchildren Fred, Ethan and Leah, his great-grandchildren Michael, Mitchell and Alaina, and by his children's partners Mary, Zvjezdana, Paolo and Chet. Visitation 9-10 A.M., Rosary 10:00 A.M., Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. all on Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church 13670 E. 13th Pl., Aurora, CO 80011. Interment to be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery 12:00 P.M. at Staging Area "A".
