It is no surprise that his grandchildren fondly remember him for these very things—his laughter, his affectionate nature, and the priceless moments spent in his embrace. His marriage of 59 years was a testament to true companionship, as he and his wife shared a bond that many aspire to find. Together, they embarked on various adventures, including the unforgettable journey of moving to Colorado in a school bus, which became a cherished vehicle for their family, taking children to Sunday school. Ray’s deep faith was woven into the fabric of his life, guiding his actions and shaping his role as a caring pillar of strength for his family.

Ray served honorably in the Air Force, a period of his life that instilled in him values of dedication and service, which he carried into all aspects of his life. His kind spirit extended beyond his immediate family; he was always generous with his time and talents, ready to lend a hand when anyone was in need.

The viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro in Denver on March 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
