Richard Dale Brown

Richard Dale Brown, 65, of Denver, Colorado died on September 6th, 2018 after a long battle with Huntington's Disease.

He was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania on May 23, 1953 to the late LT Earl Franklin Brown, US Navy Ret. and Jean Emily Robbins Brown, US Army Meteorologist. He spent his early years in Tucson, Arizona before moving to Denver in 1965.

He is survived by his sons Richard F Brown and Jon Alex Brown, and his daughter Willow Jean Brown. Other surviving family members include his wife Tifany, brothers David Earl Brown and Alan Brown as well as nieces and other extended family.

Rick was an avid model airplane builder and especially liked WWII era planes. He worked for many years as an automotive salesperson and he had a special love of Volkswagens. In his younger days, he helped, along with his brothers, with bands Zephyr and Energy, as well as the first Tommy Bolin band in 1975. He was a beloved father, husband, brother and friend and he will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80226 on September 21st at 2:00 PM.
