Richard Lee Duran

March 9, 1969 — February 2, 2022

age 52 of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, Richard Duran was born on March 9, 1969 to Christine and Jack Duran.

He is survived by his parents, his Brother Jason (Liz) Duran and their children Ashleigh, Cassandra and Jayden; his Brother Josh Duran and his children Syrina, Fawn and Willow; his Sister Daneille (Jake Duron) Duran and their children Younique, Shyeene, Jordan, Jackie, Javale and Damara; his Sister Janie Rivas and her children Leon, Nathan and Roman; and many other family and friends.

Rick was a loving, caring and stubborn man. He loved his family very much but also loved the mountains and his beautiful dog "Little Bit". He was funny and always had something smart to say. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. When he was younger he played baseball and as he got older he played on a softball team which was called Los Amigos in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was an independent youth at the age of 18. He wanted to be on his own. With a few hiccups coming home, he finally settled down in Crystal Lakes, Colorado where he worked at Beaver Meadows Resort.

He loved to be in the cold mountains, unfortunately on January 10, 2022 he was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital by ambulance where he had his great battle with COVID. He fought a great battle and just wanted to come home. He unfortunately lost that battle on February 2, 2022. He will be missed by so many because he was loved by so many and touched many hearts.
