Richard Henry Harper, 59, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on February 20th 2024 due to illness. Richard was born on November 14th 1964 to Richard and Elaine Harper in Red Bank, New Jersey. He was the youngest of four children.
Richard graduated from Golden High School, Golden, Colorado in 1983. He went on to become a certified auto mechanic, graduating from Arizona Automotive Institute. From there Richard started work for Medved Auto Plex, where he worked for 36 years.
In his spare time Richard loved to work on cars, was a dedicated nascar fan, frequently visiting Las Vegas for the races. Bandimere Mile High Nationals drag racing was one of his favorite annual events. Richard was a dog lover, cancer survivor and music lover. His neighborhood will miss his fantastic
fireworks display every 4th of July.
Services will be held in upstate New York in July.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Denver Hospice or Foothills Animal Shelter.
