Richard Gale Height

Richard Gale Height, age 79 of Denver, Colorado passed away on Saturday August 5, 2023.
Born to Walter and Dorothy Height on June 15, 1944, in Lockney, Texas. Richard attended Texas Tech University and was conferred his bachelor's degree in accounting before being inducted into the U.S. Army on August 23, 1967 (during the Vietnam War Era). He spent his military career stationed in South Korea where he worked in payroll accounting helping to ensure our fighting troops in Vietnam were being paid. He was separated from the U.S. Army on March 26, 1969.
He eventually made his way to Colorado where he met and married Sandra L. (Stanton) Height. He enjoyed a lengthy career at Petroleum Information in Denver and retired after a satisfying position in accounting with the company. Richard was a very dedicated and devout Christian who practiced his faith daily.
He is preceded in death by parents Walter and Dorothy Height, and brother James Height. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandra (Sandy), his brother David Manges of Lubbock, Texas, his son Wayne Gary Height of Tyler, Texas and numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
