Richard Allen Kemp

Richard Kemp of Lakewood passed peacefully in his sleep on February 13, 2025. 

He was born in Denver, Colorado May 30, 1951 to Lewis M and Dessie L (Newman) Kemp. He was raised in Colorado where he met Martha Owens and married in 1971.

He is survived by his wife Martha; two daughters Heather (Steve) Grover and Kendra (Paul III) Songer; seven grandsons Andrew (Jenna) Lussier, Tyler O'Donnell, Paul IV (Catrina), Max, Neil, Justin (Megan), and Troy Songer; two granddaughters Annmarie (Cole) Nickell and Kamryn Grover; three great-grandchildren Freya Patrick, James Songer and Ava Nickell; and his sister Carrol Uhrig.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father Dessie and Lewis Kemp, several nieces, nephews and other family members. 

Rick and Martha were married for 53 years until his passing.
