Rich was born in San Francisco, California to his beloved mother Mildred Dennison (Lewis) in 1945. He was a graduate of Lutheran High School and later attended Ft. Lewis College. He then honorably served his Country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Rich was a loner, but he enjoyed playing online games with people from around the country. His other favorite things included watching Colorado Rockies baseball, Clint Eastwood movies, reading the newspaper, and conquering the daily crossword puzzle.
His neighbor, Joann Cortez, was his best friend, who he also called his “sister.” They spent thousands of hours playing games like Scrabble and Yahtzee together, birthdays and holidays, and shared thoughts about the world and pop culture.
Rich will be missed by all those who knew him.
