Richard Ehni Read, 74, of Aurora, Passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021.
Richard was born to the late Robert and Margaret Read, January 23, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was in the Air Force and retired from Rocky Flats. Richard and Pamela Read were married for 42 years before her passing in 2018.
Richard was a friend to all who met him. His caring spirit provokes the fondest of memories. He cared deeply for others.
Richard was always busy doing something, whether it was tinkering around the house, bowling, or going to the gym, he was always involved in something. Richard took the time to talk to people and genuinely listened.
Richard was survived by his sister, Christine Read; Stepson, Robert Barry and his four grandchildren, Mason Owens, Sara Barry, Jessica Barry, and Justin Barry.
Richard was a kind, thoughtful and generous man, he will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
There will be a graveside service at Ft. Logan with restricted attendance due to COVID-19.
