He was born to the late Arnold John Dietrich von Seggern and Chandos McNeal on May 11, 1939 in Denver, Colorado. He attended Lyons High School and Santa Monica City College. He worked in the Aerospace industry.
Von married Sandra Bryson in 1967 and they lived in Southern California before relocating to Colorado in 1978.
He is survived by wife, Sandra; son Eric (Karen) von Seggern of Johnstown, Colorado; daughter Krista (Israel) Barron of Culver City, California, and four grandchildren; Carter von Seggern (Denver, CO), Elliana von Seggern (Johnstown, CO), Logan and Tyler Barron (Culver City, CA).
A picnic in his honor will be held on June 25, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Lavern M. Johnson Park in Lyons, CO. All are welcome!
