Robert A."Bob" Woodcook

Robert A. "Bob" Woodcook, 67, of Denver, passed away February 7, 2018.

He was born July 28, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of John and Dorothy (Kreider) Woodcook.

On December 19, 1970, he married Vicki Aden.

Bob was a CU Football season ticket holder for 40 years. He was also a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church for almost 30 years. Bob was a 30-year sports official for CSOA. Bob also volunteered as an official for the Special Olympics.

Family was important to Bob. He was highly involved in his grandsons' sports. Very seldom did he miss a game. He enjoyed bowling and his trips to Black Hawk and Las Vegas. He loved his trips to the ocean and to NASCAR races. He was an avid golfer and loved to spend time teaching his grandsons the sport. Bob loved life and people. He never knew a stranger.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Vicki Woodcook; two daughters, Stephanie Woodcook and Jessica (Michael) Koschik; four grandchildren, Isaiah Gee, Ryan Koschik, Joshua Koschik and Devon Gee; mother, Dorothy Woodcook; sister, Susan (Michael) Farrell; sister-in-law Priscilla Maly; several nieces, nephews and extended family and many friends including Bob and Ingrid Chernet and his granddog, Buster.

He is preceded in death by Father, John Woodcook and Brother, Maj. John Woodcook, Jr.
