Robert Carl Blum

To say Grandpa was anything but extraordinary would be an understatement. He always had a story for anyone at the ready to share. His laugh could be both seen & heard, but soo infectious.

Our favorite memories of Bob include him leading kickball game with our Division Ave crew or tossing us high in the air landing in a big splash at Bellevue Pool.

Bob was happiest with a crew of kids surrounding him. Anyone who knew Bob, knows of his die hard love for his Pittsburgh Steelers, to then end they were always his hometown team.

Bob's love of planes and trains was a life long passion, from his early days entering the Air Force in 1954, thru his United Airlines Career from 1957-1997.

Robert's retirement chapter and most fond project was volunteering with his favorite planes at the Wings Over the Rockies Museum, where for almost 2 decades Dad greeted visitors or could be found in flight with the bi-plane.

March 19,2024 Robert Carl Blum embarked on his final journey.

May his memory be eternal.
